Portraits of the Brave

The ones who show up. . .

This portrait series started with the Florida Highway Patrol, but it’s grown into something much bigger.

“Portraits of the Brave” is a personal project that honors the men and women who serve as first responders: law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, and other emergency personnel.

Through a mix of formal and creative portraits, this series aims to document their dedication and humanity. These are more than uniforms, they’re people with stories, families, pride, and purpose.

As a photographer, I’ve always believed great images preserve legacy. My goal with this project is to give back through timeless portraits, ones they can proudly own and share. Ones that future generations can look back on and feel proud of. Each session is a tribute. Each photo, a story.

This is my way of saying thank you.
